My career began in hands-on accounting roles, where I managed full-cycle bookkeeping and close responsibilities including bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, AR/AP, journal entries, and financial reporting. I’ve prepared financials for executive leadership, supported audits, assisted with tax filings, and ensured GAAP-compliant reporting across multi-location and multi-entity businesses.
As my career progressed, I expanded my focus beyond day-to-day bookkeeping into financial systems, process design, and accounting workflows. I’ve worked closely with business owners, controllers, and finance teams to evaluate accounting systems, improve close processes, and ensure financial data is accurate, reliable, and scalable as businesses grow.
